Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd Season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been the first of The Talk's hosts. She was moderating and hosting The Talk from 2010 until 2018, when she was the host. But her real passion was when she added writer to her duties, and was awarded an Emmy for her work. Her outstanding talk show also earned the host an Emmy. She co-hosted the CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 and 2010. Her previous roles included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks She was taken to Cairo and found the hijacker's lead father to give him an eye-opening exclusive interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news program that profiles celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter who has featured stars such as Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was the reporter for WDTN TV Dayton which was based in Dayton the state of Ohio (1995-1997). When she was finishing her last academic year at the University, she served as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and served as producer for ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news service). This was her first job in broadcasting as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel in the production of the award-winning Columbia du-Pont program Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at the Los Angeles riots of '92.
