Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. The talent agent who spotted her talent and noted her talents convinced her to go into the industry of entertainment. In the end, after much thought and consideration she decided to drop out of school to start a new career in the entertainment industry. She first made an appearance in the film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. She was determined to perfect her acting skills and appeared in a number of budget-friendly films to demonstrate her talents. The path of the actor wasn't easy, but his sheer patience and willpower were rewarded. The actress received fame and positive reviews for her performance in the film Training Day after which her acting career began to take off.
